Symptoms of Endometriosis
• Pelvic pain- The extent to which the disease has developed is not necessarily related to the pain suffered although it is normally correlated. Pain related to the symptoms of endometriosis can include:
- Dysmenorrhea
- Chronic pelvic pain
- Dyspareunia
- Dysuria
• Infertility- It is not always caused by endometriosis but endometriosis is frequently seen amongst women who do not conceive because of some other reason.
• Other symptoms
- Constipation
- Abnormal periods
- Back pain
- Intense pain in thighs and legs
- Adhesions that cause pain
- Hypoglycemia
- Gastrointestinal problems
